We are truly delighted to welcome Amy onto the Music for Health Team
Amy is covering Farnham, Headley Down, Beacon Hill, Haslemere and sundry Areas
Amy has had a life long passion for music. She regularly performs with an award winning concert band and clarinet groups in various venues and schools across Berkshire, Hampshire and London. Having taken up the clarinet aged 8, she later went on to study music at university in Canterbury. Although majoring in performance, she also became very interested in the health benefits that music can offer individuals of all ages. A particular module; Music, Arts and Health enabled her to partake in, experience and study more closely the impact regular musical experiences had on the well being and mental health of groups of older people at day centres. This was incredibly rewarding and something that has stayed with her over the years. Therefore, Amy is absolutely thrilled to be joining the team at Music for Health and is excited to share her passion and joy of music with your residents.
Amy says:-
I feel thrilled to be able to do a job that fulfils my passion for music. That works around my family, and gives as much pleasure to me as it does to the Residents that I love to work with.
