Welcome to the MFH Team

Music for Health is delighted to welcome Jacquie Torrance into the Music for Health family. We know that Jacquie will prove to be an invaluable addition to the MFH team.

In Jacquie’s own words:-

Having been blessed with very good health myself, I have always wanted to help people who are less fortunate. Over the years I have studied and practised several forms of complementary medicine, including homeopathy, reflexology, massage therapy, hypnotherapy and meditation. My clients have included young children, students, adults with families and/or busy careers, and senior citizens.

I was attracted to Music for Health because I know how much joy music and dance has brought to me. Whenever I felt low or particularly stressed, I played some music and danced around my home. It never failed to lighten my mood and to leave me feeling more relaxed and in harmony with life.

During my workshops I have seen the happiness that music and movement brings to the residents and I believe every care home should include Music for Health in its activities. I welcome the chance to bring the benefits of these workshops to even more people in care homes, sheltered housing and nursing homes in east Cambridgeshire and north Norfolk. After all, you are never too old to have fun! And with a free trial workshop on offer, what is there to lose?

Of course, music is a delight to all ages and I would like to introduce Music for Health to younger people too. So I also invite residential units for young adults to book a free workshop.

As Local Director for the King’s Lynn region I cover the area from March and Wisbech, across to Swaffham, Fakenham, Holt and Sheringham. The southern coast of The Wash is also part of my area, including Hunstanton and Wells-next-the-Sea.

To book a free trial workshop, please call me on 07476 827564 or e-mail me at [email protected].
